Climate Change, Forests, and Vegetation

The United Nations has declared 2011 as the international year of forests, drawing attention to the important roles that forests play in securing environmental, economic and social well-being. Forests are intimately bound up with the behavior of regional and global climates, and this special collection brings together a number of our review articles dealing with the interaction between forests and climate.
