China's National Climate Change Program

China’s National Climate Change Program published in 2007 laid out five areas around which national policy development should occur: greenhouse gas emissions reduction; climate change adaptation; climate change science and technology; public awareness of climate change; and institutions and mechanisms. This special collection includes review articles from WIREs Climate Change pertaining to China which survey, summarize, and assess knowledge in these five thematic areas of the National Program. We invite readers interested in the development and application of climate change research and policy in China to visit the collection so that their learning and innovation in these areas can build on existing knowledge. The journal welcomes approaches and suggestions from potential Chinese authors for review articles on any aspect of climate change. Short abstracts and outlines should be sent to climatechange@wiley.com. Mike Hulme, Editor-in-Chief Updated October 2018
